Max Verstappen a décroché la pole position du Grand Prix d’Australie de Formule 1. Le pilote néerlandais a clôturé la séance de qualification en 1:15.915, établissant un nouveau record et obtenant la première position sur la grille à l’Albert Park de Melbourne.
La Ferrari de Carlos Sainz est également sur la première ligne, tandis que la deuxième sera occupée par l’autre Red Bull de Sergio Perez et la McLaren de Lando Norris. Charles Leclerc, malgré deux excellentes séances en FP2 et FP3, partira cinquième en raison de quelques imprécisions en Q3.
